Sr. IT Security Engineer

Job description

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days working in the office and two days working remotely. We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior IT Security Engineer to help protect enterprise systems, data, and infrastructure. This hands-on role is ideal for a seasoned security professional who can design and implement controls, respond to threats, and partner across IT and the business to strengthen our security posture. In this position, you will: - Lead root cause analysis and security investigations across endpoints, servers, network infrastructure, identity platforms, and cloud environments - Design, implement, and continuously improve security controls to protect data, reduce risk, and align with cybersecurity best practices and frameworks - Own and enhance monitoring, detection, and incident response processes—triaging alerts, coordinating containment/eradication, and driving lessons learned - Engineer and operationalize security tooling - Drive vulnerability management activities including identification, prioritization, remediation coordination, and verification - Lead or significantly contribute to vendor risk management activities, security assessments, a...
