Part-time Continuing Education Allied Health Student Support Specialist

POSITION PURPOSE: The Continuing Education Allied Health Student Support person is responsible for guiding students through enrollment in Allied Health programs. This includes student advising, document submission, program intake requirements for enrollment, and student registration. This position reports directly to the Dean of Workforce & Career Pathways. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collaborate with the Continuing Education Coordinator on allied health programs hosted by Continuing Education. - Provide help to allied health students with regards to admissions, enrollment, cashiering, financial aid and advising. - Attend recruiting events. - Provide program intake and registration of students for allied health classes. - Communicate with students regarding access to Navarro College facilities and systems, course dates, course cancellations or changes, and other information as needed. - Maintain contact with students after program completion as appropriate and required to track employment and other deliverables. - Communicate regularly with the Dean of Workforce & Career Pathways regarding institutional activities including achievement toward deliverables, enrollment or...
