Description: The Maintenance Mechanics maintains the safe operation and maintenance of building facilities, electrical, and mechanical systems and plumbing. We are seeking a candidate for the evening shift Monday – Friday; 2pm – 10:30 pm. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, schematics and written technical documents of general machineries to locate area of trouble and complete repairs accurately. - Repairs and adjusts doors, windows, closures, panic devices and locks. - Patches holes, installs escutcheons, repairs ceiling and floor tile as needed to maintain building appearance. - Makes minor masonry and wood repairs. - Installs pictures, coat hooks, other wall hung furnishings, and equipment as requested. - Responsible for operating and maintaining specific equipment, conducting surveys and inventories, performing preventive maintenance activities, responding to custom...
