Job DetailsJob Location: Mead, CO 80542Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.00 HourlyThe Hazardous Materials Technician II/III (Environmental Technician II/III) handles hazardous waste and completes procedures for waste characterization, processing and disposal, and ensures all operations comply with regulatory requirements. The position encompasses a variety of duties. In addition to handling waste materials, the Hazardous Materials Technician II/III (Environmental Technician II/III) may perform warehouse, maintenance, and cleanup activities needed to facilitate general operations and regulatory compliance. Level will be commensurate with experience. Job Responsibilities: Transfers waste water, waste solvents, and other wastes between tanks, drums, and shipping containers using pumps, pressure and other equipment Labels hazardous waste containers as appropriate to maintain compliance with labeling regulations and times Learns/knows plant processes sufficiently to effectively characterize and manage process wastes Maintains the hazardous waste accumulation area(s) in a clean and orderly condition Performs yard and building cleanup as needed Performs shipping and receiving activities as neede...
