Responsibilities: The Privileging Specialist completes and processes hospital privilege applications and provides follow-up to ensure clinician is privileged to start on proposed target start date. - Process hospital privilege applications on behalf of new and existing clinicians as needed - Communicates on a regular basis with the medical staff offices to obtain status updates - Maintains and updates credentialing database with status and necessary data elements - Documents all tasks, phone calls, emails and other forms of communication during the crede...
