Department: 34519 AMC Grafton - Critical Care: IU 2nd Floor ICU Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 8 Schedule Details/Additional Information: We are accepting applications for a Nurse Extern to work one day per week in the Summer and into Fall until graduation. We are only considering candidates interested in being considered for an RN position in ICU at Grafton post-graduation. Candidates will need to provide transcripts(unofficial) to show current enrollment (in final year) or graduate of an accredited nursing program; as well as successful completion of a Medical Surgical Course that includes pharmacological concepts. Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Major Responsibilities: - Under the observation of the Registered Nurse, completes activities of daily living, vital sign completion and blood glucose monitoring. - Collaborates with the Registered Nurse in establishing a plan of care based upon an analysis of health, education and developmental needs and patient/family preferences. - Under the observation of the Registered Nurse, evaluates patient response to interventions and effectively communicates observations and patient needs to the Registered Nurse. - Develop...
