Position Summary MAG Aerospace is looking for a Systems Engineer to lead engineering efforts on assigned programs supporting PEO Soldier. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to: - Serves as Lead Systems Engineer on assigned DOD C5ISR system development programs, with duties as identified below. - Requires a thorough knowledge of the Systems Engineering Management Process and Implementation, as applied to the Department of Army/DOD Acquisition process throughout all life cycle phases; knowledge of DOD policies on Systems Engineering, Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD) and IPT Management; and ability to coordinate and negotiate design and engineering activities with other related programs and organizations. - Manages systems engineering activities including requirements analyses, functional analyses, design solutions formulation, systems analysis and control, and generation and maintenance of systems architecture products. - Provides technical support and analysis in evaluation of sensor prototypes and systems, to include thermal imagers, image intensifiers, and lasers, to Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier Project Manager (PM) pa...
