Based in our Marshalltown, IA location, you will be part of the North American Quality Team that Monitors the manufacturing of valves for nuclear power plants. Safety and quality are of the utmost importance at Emerson. You will be the liaison between manufacturing and our suppliers, driving continuous improvement and excellence, ensuring compliance to company and government standards. AS THE SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER, YOU WILL: Lead Supplier Development Own Supplier Quality Oversite and Improvement Conduct source inspections, periodic supplier audits, and performance assessments at vendor locations Work in collaboration with the global NBU Supply chain, Manufacturing Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve issues. Provide suppliers timely nonconformance data for rejected product. Provide suppliers problem-solving and root cause analysis support to eliminate recurrences of non-conformances efficiently and effectively.
