The University of Miami, in Miami, Florida is seeking a Sr. Research Associate 1 for the Neuromuscular Division, Department of Neurology. The incumbent will be an integral member of an active clinical and translational research group focused on therapy development for Lou Gehrig’s disease (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS) and related neurodegenerative diseases. Working closely with the principal investigators, biostatistician, and other data staff, the incumbent will provide data management support for the research program, including but not limited to the following: Develop and implement strategies for real-time data QC; Conduct routine data checks to ensure data integrity and completeness; Write SAS macros and programs for data merging, harmonization, cleaning, and reporting (e.g. tables, listings, figures); Creation of analysis datasets and associated documentation (e.g. codebook, data dictionary); Assist i...
