SUMMARY: Perform a variety of duties to purchase materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies according to district guidelines for cost, quality, and delivery. Work in accordance with local, state, and federal law and recognized public sector purchasing principles. Perform market research and prepare bids and procurement documents. Prepare and specify performance conditions to elicit competitive bids for a variety of commodities and services; review and evaluate vendor proposals; advise purchase evaluation committees; present purchasing and contracting recommendations for approval.
