Description The Product Assembly Technician is responsible for the precision assembly, inspection, and functional verification of electrical and electro-mechanical components used in power transformer applications. This role specifically supports the assembly of load tap changer (LTC) components, complete load tap changers, and mechanical drive mechanisms, ensuring all products meet engineering drawings, quality standards, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical assembly, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Requirements: Assembly & Manufacturing: Assemble electrical and mechanical components related to power transformer load tap changers, including but not limited to: Diverter switch assemblies, Selector switch components, Mechanical drive mechanisms, Actuators, gearing, shafts, linkages, and housings Perform sub-assembly and final assembly operations according to: Engineering drawings, Bills of material (BOMs), Work instructions, and specifications.
