The Service & Team: This role is within the Prevention, Protection and Safeguarding (PPS) function of Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) and part of Cornwall Council's Safer Communities Directorate The Role: Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a Resourcing and Delivery Prevention Manager (Grade 5) to provide leadership across the Home Safety, Engagement, Safeguarding and Partnership functions. The post holder will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the delivery of CFRS prevention activity across Cornwall, ensuring activity is evidence led, person centred and aligned with legislative requirements, national guidance and CFRS strategic priorities. The role includes deputising for the Prevention, Protection and Safeguarding Area Manager when required, providing leadership continuity and operational resilience. You will lead teams, manage performance and resources, and work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners to reduce risk and improve community safety outcomes.
