Job Details: This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. SUMMARY: Maintenance Lead performs all the functions of a refrigeration supervisor for a team of 10 to 12 hourly technicians EXCEPT anything to do with pay payroll clocking reports promotion or demotion attendance or and disciplinary activities. This is a development position to prepare an hourly TEAM member with the skills and experience to advance to a refrigeration supervisor position. DUTIES: Perform duties in accordance to Tyson safety programs to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment.
