Located at Miami Valley Hospital (Dayton, OH) Full-Time Day Shift (4:30 AM-3:00 PM) Part-Time and Full-Time Evening Shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM) Full-Time Night Shift (11:00 PM-7:30 AM) Each Shift Includes a Weekend and Holiday Rotation. Position Summary: The Phlebotomists/Processor collects, transports, and processes laboratory specimens. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures according to departmental procedures. - Accurately label and prepare specimens for testing or transport. - Complete requisitions and manage specimen receipt using computer systems. - Deliver specimens to testing areas. - Maintain equipment and assist with problem-solving related to patient draws and orders. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and departmental policies. - Conduct inventory checks, train new employees, and maintain a safe work environment. - Other duties as assigned. - High School Graduate or equivalent. - Some experience or training in phlebotomy or laboratory science is preferred.
