Infrastructure Operations Engineer, Sovereign Operations - South East (Hampshire)

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field such as Computer Networking, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning, developer operations, or continuous integration, delivery, designing, building, deploying of cloud-based solution architectures. - Experience in either Linux/Docker/Kubernetes technologies or Windows and Active Directory environments. - Experience in scripting and development languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for Automation. - Experience with physical and virtual infrastructure, operating systems, or virtualization. - Must possess an active Security Check (SC) UK security clearance, and the ability to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) UK security clearance. Preferred qualifications: - Familiarity with standard IT security practices (such as encryption, certificates, key management and use of HSMs or other specialist security equipment). - Experience in system administration tasks in Linux or Unix. - Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins). - Ab...
