Job description

Position Summary The Senior Vocational Case Manager conducts extensive comm u nity outre ach, including workshops and presentations to HIV/AIDS community partners, to support participant engagemen t in the N assau Employment Initiative (NEI). The role is responsible for enrollment, assessment, case management, job readiness, placement, and retention services that support successful employment outcomes. The Senior Vocational Case Manager also supervi ses the Employment Specialist. Essential Functions: - Conduct individualized vocational assessment, counseling and case management to evaluate NEI clients for job readiness. Assist clients in resolving barriers to employment and facilitate referrals, when ready, for job placement. - Monitor clients’ progress and provide ongoing support and assistance during post placement. - Supervise and provide training and guidance for the Employment Specialist. - Collaborate with NADAP staff to coordinate and facilitate employment readiness, placement and retention activities.
