About the role Mater Private Hospital Redlands is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant/Orderly to join them on a casual basis. You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient support services to our patients, including assisting with non-therapeutic aspects of patient care based on a consumer-focused philosophy and in accordance with hospital policy. To be eligible for this position you will require availability across a 7-day rotating roster (Day shifts between 6:30am to 9:00pm and Night cleaning from 6:00pm to 01:00am) Salary range: $32.02 - $34.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits! What you’ll be doing: The key tasks of the Support Services - Housekeeping Attendant/Orderly are: - Cleaning of patient rooms and public areas. - Night Cleaning of the Operating Theatre, CSSD, Recovery areas. - Safely transport patients on beds to Operating Theatre and Wards. - Transport medical equipment, gas cylinder, blood products as required. - Removal of soiled linen, rubbish and sharps containers. - Safely driving the patient transportation vehicles for offsite patient transfers. - Perform infectiou...
