The Team: This position is a part of an exciting new team at the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) as part of the Rheumatology and Persistent Pain Service currently being established, enhancing equity of access to specialist rheumatology services in Northern Tasmania. The Role: This role requires an experienced nurse who can provide leadership, support and expert advice to other members of the health care team to ensure the efficient and effective coordination and provision of nursing care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, as well as being a clinical resource for patients and carers. The Rheumatology CNC will also coordinate and evaluate the intake, planning, assessment, evaluation and discharge processes for Rheumatology clients referred from both the acute sector and the community within an outpatient setting.
