Export Control Coordinator

Job description

Job Summary: The Export Control and Compliance Manger reports to the Assistant Vice President for Research Compliance & Security and is responsible for implementing, overseeing and helping to develop and update the university’s export control compliance program as well as supporting the university’s compliance committees. Incumbent will work closely with a broad array of university units and stakeholders to assess and mitigate risks associated with international collaborations, research activities, and technology transfers. Essential Functions: - Ensure institutional export control compliance with state and federal regulations and policies, including National Security Presidential Memorandum 33 (NSPM-33), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and related federal regulations for research, testing, academic programming, and other university activities through collaboration with faculty, researchers, legal counsel, academic affairs, other administrative units and external stakeholders - Work with university stakeholders, Office of General Counsel and other appropriate individuals to determine...
