No capes necessary, just real people doing work that matters! A bit about the role: The In-Work Support Mentor plays a key role in helping young people stay connected to employment after placement. Working within the Transition to Work service delivery model, you will provide tailored post-placement mentoring and employer engagement to support successful, sustainable employment outcomes. This role is focused on building strong relationships with both young people and employers during the crucial early stages of employment. You will keep in regular contact, identify challenges early and provide practical support to help address issues before they impact a placement. Whether it is helping a young person adjust to workplace expectations, supporting communication between the employer and employee or working through barriers that may place employment at risk, your role will directly contribute to retention and long-term success. You will also maintain accurate records, manage competing priorities and ensure all support is delivered in line with program requirements.
