Dishwasher POSITION SUMMARY: The Dishwasher helps create a joyful and vibrant community by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Is prompt and reliable in coming to work. - Assists in clearing and resetting counters or tables at conclusion of each course. - Assists residents to dining area if required. - Delivers prompt and courteous service. - Runs dishwashing machine. Sets up or breaks down dishwashing area. - Maintains infection control standards, updates and inspects sanitizer and dish machine temperature logs. - Cleans dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils. Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwasher or by hand. Places clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas. - Sorts and rinses dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and places them in racks to send through dish machine. - Sorts and stacks clean dishes.
