Job description

Job Details: This position must use a knife to kill chickens that the kill machine misses and monitor the line for bent shackles. Position is responsible for making sure all birds are properly deceased before continuing down the line. Positions require the ability to push/pull/carry/lift 40+ pounds periodically. Must be willing to work in hot/dark/dusty/wet/blood environments, use hands and arms above shoulder level and be able stand 8-10 hours a day. Must be able to use knives and scissors. Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard. Positions will be for 1st shift. Must be able to understand and agree to follow all Safety Rules. Must be willing to stand on metal platform up to 100% of the shift. Bending, twisting, stooping, lifting and reaching is required repetitively. Must be willing to use both hands and arms to pick up live birds All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
