QA New Model Engineer III Basic Purpose 1) Support the PPAP Team / QA New Model MGMT in the preparation of equipment, mating parts, fixtures and jigs in order to complete dimensional and testing analysis for new programs, products, processes, and design changes. 2)Track and follow up on approval status with customers for PPAPs, SCR, Advance Notice, and ESERs. Prepare and submit documents timely per customer requirements and SEWS requirements. Meet with and track customer approvals for timely response. 3)Investigate functional failures of new parts. Develop better testing methods and design any necessary testing jigs to ensure a stable test setup. Basic Position Duties Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Must have knowledge/skills using Microsoft office software including (but not limited to) Excel, Teams, etc. Must have at least basic skills in using CAD software (Solidworks is a plus). Must be available for domestic/international travel (limited).
