REAL TIME CONSULTING (An RTCo Company)—POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer - Aircraft Recorders ABOUT THE JOB: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced avionics systems for aerospace platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics architecture, systems engineering processes, and regulatory compliance, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior engineers. REQUIRED SKILLS: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in system engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in avionics systems engineering, or prior relevant experience - Strong knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS). - Experience with embedded systems, real-time software, and hardware/software integration. - Familiarity with ARP-4754, MIL-STD, ARINC, and RTCA standards. - Experience with system validation, system integration, lab testing, and flight test support. - Experience preparing and reviewing certification documents. - Excellent communication, documentation, and pro...
