Senior Business Analyst

Job description

The Payments Settlements (PS) department is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic team responsible for delivering security initiatives and major projects that maintain and enhance Australia’s critical payment systems. These include the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS), the Fast Settlement Service (FSS), and SWIFT systems used for interbank payments. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, and validate requirements for changes that strengthen the security and resilience of PS systems. Your role: - Develop detailed business requirements and functional specifications for the new business initiatives and improvements for RITS and other critical systems operated by PS. - Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to capture and document business and technical requirements and act as a liaison between business, IT, and infrastructure teams to align solutions with business goals. - Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to drive consensus and clarity - Support solution design and architecture discussions with technical teams - Work with Security, Risk, and Complianc...
