Job description

Position Description Directs the activities of Production Supervisors Group Leads and other Lead positions to maximize production volume, maintain schedules, ensure safe operation of all machines and equipment, and to optimize cost and quality considerations. Job Responsibilities: - Monitors and determines manufacturing costs and outlay, quality and quantity of goods produced, production methods, tooling applications, and ensures the effective use of production hours, skills, machines, equipment and facilities - Participates in planning production schedules, technical requirements and manufacturing controls related to all manufacturing operations - Expedites scheduled production, investigates and resolves delays and initiates corrective action. - Coordinates operations-related programs such as manufacturing methods, cost reduction initiatives, preventive and regular maintenance, training, staffing, safety and housekeeping - Administers company rules, regulations and policies - Participates in the budgeting process,monitors and reports on manufacturing performance as it relates to budgetary guidelines - Participates in the selection and acquisition of capital equipment for the produ...
