Data Center Mechanical Engineer

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments. - 5 years of experience in design, construction, and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical distribution systems, including air and water side systems. - Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or other relevant field. - Professional Engineering (PE) license. - 5 years of experience with mission critical facilities and data centers (multi-tenant facilities or build-to-suit single tenant facilities) in design or construction with project/engineering management. - Experience working with data center equipment and environments (e.g., switchgear, generators, transformers, controls, security monitoring systems, and fire safety systems). - Understanding of start up/commissioning processes.
