RK&K is hiring a Senior Roadway Inspector to join our CEI team in the Chipley, Florida area. This position is in our Construction Management group which oversees Contractors on roadway construction projects. Essential Functions: - Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations - Assist the Project Administrator in daily roadway inspection - Ensure contractor compliance alongside quality control - Perform inspections and testing as required - Testing and inspections include but are not limited to earthwork, asphalt, concrete , bridge structures, lighting, pavement markings, signing and signalization, and other roadway safety components. Provides general management, supervision and instruction for the CEI Inspectors - Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator Required Skills and Experience: - High school graduate or equivalent plus four (4) years of experience in roadway or bridge construction inspection , two (2) years of which shall have been in roadway construction inspection - CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I - CTQP Concrete Field Insp...
