Custodial & Housekeeping Temporary Assignments

Job description

Duties and responsibilities: vary depending on departmental needs. Duties may include but are not limited to being responsible for meeting high standards of housekeeping in offices, meeting rooms, public areas, bathrooms, housekeeping closets, and other areas within the facilities. Duties include floor maintenance, dusting, gathering and removal of trash, and may include snow and ice removal from entrance ways and sidewalks. Reports needed equipment and building repair and any unsafe or unusual housekeeping situations. Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping supplies, equipment and assigned keys. Occasionally assists with the preparation of regularly scheduled events. This position may be designated Emergency Personnel, and requires employees to report to work during emergency situations, closings, and per supervisor's instructions. Emergency Hire opportunities are limited to 130 calendar days of employment. Required qualifications: may vary based on assignment.
