Position Overview: As the Manufacturing Engineer you will help support the engineering team in our Manchester, CT facility. Key Responsibilities: '': ' Support daily operations and troubleshoot production issues ' Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes and products. ' Design and modify fixtures, tooling, and gauging ' Produce, update, and review engineering drawings and op sheets ' Document key processes and train operators to standardized work ' Disposition nonconforming material and perform RCCA ' Research and develop new processes in accordance with customer specifications. ' Recommend, justify, and implement Capital Expenditures and equipment upgrades ' Perform Contract Review and risk analysis ' Review and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and PO requirements and incorporate them into manufacturing processes ' Participate in PPAP, PFMEA, and creation of internal and external flow downs ' Develop Bill of Materials and Bill of Operations for new product ' Interact with customers, operators, sales reps and vendors.
