About the Opportunity JOB SUMMARY: The Graduate Student Advisor is a key position within the College of Science, focused on the direct support and success of graduate students in College of Science programs. Specifically, this position provides specialized support to Master’s students in the College of Science, offering them guidance on their academic progress and advising on relevant policies, procedures, and other relevant topics as needed. The Graduate Student Advisor will be well-versed in university, college, and department policies and procedures as they relate to graduate students. This position is a critical part of supporting the graduate student population of the College, and serve as de facto mentors and leaders within the graduate administration team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Student Advising: Provide overall guidance to Professional Science graduate students on their academic progress towards goals. Interpret and explain relevant academic policies to students. Monitor student progress towards graduation and work with department/program to proactively address issues.
