As a mid-level role within the Overhead Distribution Construction and Maintenance team, this position requires a solid foundation in line work and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will work both independently and as part of a crew while continuing to develop the skills and experience necessary to advance to a Lineman A position. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist with constructing, maintaining, and repairing energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems. - Climb wood utility poles using proper fall protection and PPE to perform elevated work. - Work from aerial devices (bucket trucks) to install or repair power lines and equipment. - Make secondary connections at transformers. - Pull, sag, and tie in new wire. - Assist with setting and replacing utility poles. - Perform safe and effective cov...
