The Division of Otology-Neurotology in the Department of Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University seeks a board-certified or board-eligible otolaryngologist with an MD, or equivalent, to join the Division as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in either the Clinician Educator, University Medical Line or the University Tenure Line. The major criterion for appointment for faculty in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The successful applicant should be board-eligible or board-certified in Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery, as well as have completed fellowship training in Neurotology, or the equivalent, or currently be in such a fellowship. We expect the successful candidate to develop an active clinical practice in otology-neurotology, be an active teacher of medical students, residents, and fellows, and to develop a robust research program.
