This job is responsible for providing advanced database administration and technical leadership for our global database and data warehousing products. We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer who will: - Provides technical direction for DBMS standards such as software delivery, patch policies, database tuning, performance recommendations, and application design recommendations. - Designs, recommends, and implements backup and recovery policies and procedures. Designs business continuity architecture and ensures it meets the needs of the business. Review new & revised business continuity process and design. - Provides suggestions and standards for documentation that will lead to better efficiencies and information sharing within the team or across the organization. - Provides technical recommendations for advanced database components (replication, security, clustering, and partitioning).
