Job description

PURPOSE: This position reports to the Director of Logistics and is responsible for assisting with the establishment, implementation, maintenance, education and enforcement of all Trade Compliance policies and procedures in cooperation with US teams to establish best practices. Manage Trade Compliance projects within the scope of assigned responsibility and provide subject matter expertise concerning application of trade compliance laws and regulations across corporate policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Manage assigned projects within scope, cost and schedule using available project management tools and systems. - Design, implement and maintain a global customs program, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure company-wide compliance in accordance with guidelines of the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other relevant agencies. - Find opportunities for cost savings including but not limited to classification, valuation, trade programs and duty drawback vs. FTZ - Develop and maintain current expertise in trade compliance laws and regulations. - Review corporate processes to ensure...
