Carpenter Journeyman SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter Journeyman that will be responsible for providing skilled craftsmanship for installation of formwork, finish carpentry and drywall. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine material requirements and measure dimensions - Perform concrete and rough carpentry (hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, slabs, columns, drywall) - Set door frames, hang doors, and install hardware - Complete finish carpentry tasks (toilet accessories, handrails, corner guards, partitions, lockers, cabinets, countertops, wall paneling, coffered ceilings, running trim) - Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels - Perform all other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. - High school diploma or GED - Completion of apprenticeship program - Union specific training - Ability to work with precision, visualize solid objects from drawings, read plans, and operate equipment (table saws, radial arm saws, belt & disc sanders...
