Minimum Qualifications: - Doctor of Pharmacy degree required from an ACPE-accredited college - Current New Jersey State license as a Registered Pharmacist required of acceptance, by October 1st. - Proficiency with computer, data analytic and clinical applications required; good communication and interpersonal skills required. - Pharmacy Residents will be required to attend the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting (December) and the Eastern States Conference for Pharmacy Residents (May). GENERAL: The post-graduate year one (PGY-1) Pharmacy Residency Program at AtlantiCare is currently in the candidacy status by the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (ASHP). To complete the AtlantiCare Pharmacy Residency program a Pharmacy Resident must complete (12) twelve months of education in the AtlantiCare Pharmacy Resident program. The (12) twelve months includes allotted vacation, holiday, personal and sick time (please refer to the AtlantiCare benefits booklet for exact amount given).
