Position Overview: - Department : Cath Lab - Schedule : 8-24 hours a week - Work Location: UAB St Vincent's East - Benefits for eligible positions only include : generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: The Cath Lab Tech Intern is a structured workforce pipeline position designed to transition students and recent graduates from accredited cardiovascular and radiologic technology programs into permanent Cath Lab Technologist roles. This developmental role provides formalized training, competency-based progression, and mentorship within invasive cardiovascular procedural areas. Under the supervision of Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS), Cath Lab Trained Scrub Technologists, and Cath Lab leadership, the Intern participates in diagnostic and interventional procedures while completing a defined orientation and certification pathway.
