The opportunity The Senior Contract Administrator will be part of the commercial function within Downer’s Power Projects business unit. Reporting into the Commercial Manager this role maybe be based from Newcastle NSW, North Ryde NSW or Brisbane QLD. The successful candidate can envision themselves attending to duties such as: What you’ll do Participate in detailed project reviews including the preparation of all documentation and close out of action - Responsible for the timely and effective administration of contractual agreements to ensure that Downer obtains the full benefit of those agreements whilst ensuring our rights are maintained and obligations fulfilled - Support Commercial Managers with both upstream and downstream commercial management including day-to-day administration of the head contract and subcontract agreements - Successfully navigate claims, disputes and contractual issues to ensure successful outcomes - Manage subcontractor payment claims, including assessment, approvals and payments, ensuring that Downer remains compliant with its head contract and legal obligations - Draft, review and negotiate contract terms and conditions for subcontractors - Manage comme...
