Job description

Description Assembles, installs, and adjusts variety of component parts on units according to drawings and written customer specifications, using hand tools, assembly fixtures, and test devices. Available Shifts: Evening Shift- 4:30pm-3:00am Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities: - Read drawings or customer specifications to determine position of unit component parts. - Positions components and installs fixtures. - Inspect products to verify that optional equipment changes have been made according to customer specifications. - Clean dust and dirt off building panels and electrical components. - Gather supplies and tools needed to complete jobs. - Drill and tap holes to install floor plates and thresholds. - Use grinders to grind knots off floor and panels prior to painting. - Complete work according to specified schedule and complete traveler documents in detail. - Verify correct paint colors are being used by reading drawing and customer specifications. - Assemble units and tests units for proper performance using such devices as gauges, test lights, hand tools, and related electronic devices. - May install windows, door panes, handles, drains or other accessories. - Clean up...
