Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Process machine system orders with difficulty rating level 1 to 3 on a scale of 4. - Match the appropriate assemblies or component parts to the machine order specifications. - Design custom components and change parts to meet the customer’s needs or specifications. - Create CAD assemblies, part models, detail drawings, and Bill of Materials for machine orders and verifies for accuracy. - Call for design review before releasing of assemblies. - Is self-motivated to adjust schedule to meet design and release deadlines. Report projects that are falling behind schedule to the Engineering Supervisor or Engineering Manager in a timely manner so corrective action can be made. - Report to the Engineering Manager any machine-related performance or safety concerns that are not being addressed. - Initiates corrective actions within assigned project scope and escalates issues as required. - Assist assembly floor and manufacturing when called upon to solve engineering problems. - Assist the Service Department with issues found in the field.
