JOB DESCRIPTION: JOB TITLE: R&D Chemistry Summer Intern REPORTS TO: Product Development Manager: DIRECT REPORTS: None: FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (Temporary/Internship): DURATION: May 19th – August 11th (Full-Time) The R&D Summer Intern will assist the Research & Development department with short- and medium-term projects focusing on the application of chemistry and material science to innovative packaging materials and processes. This entry-level, full-time role provides hands-on experience working with various polymers, coatings, inks, and thermoforming processes and systems. The internship will involve practical lab reporting, data tracking, and assisting in general development activities in our pilot plant and R&D labs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in laboratory testing, characterization, and evaluation of innovative materials and processes. - Support short and medium-term R&D projects under the guidance of the Product Development Manager. - Compile, analyze, and retrieve production and lab data to support product trials and developments. - Assist in the preparation and organization of upcoming testing projects. - Maintain detailed and accurate records of experi...
