Tekni-Plex in Blauvelt, NY is searching for a Punch Press Operator for its 1st shift (8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday). Punch Press Operators are responsible for safely operating punch press equipment to manufacture plastic discs and gaskets using established standards and practices. What will you do?: What skills do you bring to the role? - Operates punch press equipment to manufacture plastic discs or gaskets. - Following standard methods and techniques, processes materials to ensure it meets SQF Food Safety and Quality Codes, product specifications and any special instructional customer specific requirements. - Properly and safely set up and/or break down production equipment to process specifications to meet requirements of production order. - Monitors press operation, adjusts settings, and troubleshooting issues. - Maintains safe operation of production equipment at standard rates. - Packages finish product as per standards. - Monitors machine performance as per standard during operation, follows Management Operation System (MOS) metrics and or notifications and escalations. - Inspects product for conformance to specifications, visually or using gauges or templates, a...
