Silviculture & Fire Grant Technician - Full Time Limited Duration

Starting Wage Range: $24.60/hr. - $31.84/hr. Job Summary: To complete projects planned under the Oregon Department of Forestry, Urban Community Forest grant agreement. Projects are designed to maintain and improve forest health and therefore support cultural, environmental and economic services for the Tribal Membership. Incumbent provides leadership for and works with a wildfire crew, performing a variety of technical and skilled tasks in wildfire protection, wildfire dispatch, fuel management, prescribed burning, habitat restoration, reforestation, and site preparation. This is a temporary full-time position that will terminate when grant funds are expended. Grant funding is budgeted to sustain through calendar year 2028.
