Position Summary The Loss Protection Engineer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving Loss Protection Initiatives and providing technical expertise to support risk assessments and complex engineering projects. The role analyzes survey reports, assesses unusual circumstances, and conducts consultative visits to customer facilities. They offer specialized guidance on loss prevention strategies and answers underwriter and customer queries on loss control standards and programs. What will your job entail?: Job Responsibilities: - Provides technical expertise to facilitate risk assessments that identify exposure and formulate recommendations to eliminate risk and external exposure impact and loss estimates. - Develops and implements loss prevention strategies to minimize the likelihood of incidents and claims related to engineering projects. - Reviews Loss Control reports, sends out correspondence to underwriters regarding the findings, and follows up to ensure timely site compliance with recommendations. - Manages Loss Control site visits to ensure covered projects are inspected thoroughly and participates in the claims process by providing information related to loss c...
