Department/Unit: Patient Service Associate Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $46,220.72 - $64,709.01 Involves assessing, planning, organizing, scheduling and supervising the work of all PSA personnel engaged in maintaining the facility in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Will continuously make rounds of the hospital to determine special assignments or project work which is needed. Makes inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of the department. Plans and conducts bi-weekly meetings to enhance each employee's knowledge of their duties. Ensures "specific" training of each new employee is carried out and documented. Other supervision and resources as requested by the department manager/director. Works in a fast paced and potentially stressful environment. Makes decisions to act on responsibilities without being instructed. Trains staff in facility and department standards designed for a specific environment. Dresses to meet dress code specified for a leadership position. Practices good public relations and follows all safety regulations. Ability to train, lead and motivate people.
