Overview: The Vermont Office of the Attorney General, Department for Children and Families, Family Services Legal Division, has an immediate opening for an energetic and talented full-time Assistant Attorney General who will be responsible for representing the Department for Children and Families before the Human Services Board. Description: The responsibilities of this position include litigating Family Division cases before the Vermont Superior Courts and representing the Department in administrative appeals before the Human Services Board. Other duties include contract review, related administrative legal work, and training family service workers in all aspects of the litigation process. Travel across the state will be required.
