Cleaner Casual & Part-time positions available. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our Environmental Services team. The ideal candidates will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring the well-being of patients, visitors, and staff. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the overall cleanliness and infection control within Yarrawonga Health. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain high standards of cleanliness through routine cleaning, disinfecting and sanitising of patient rooms, communal areas and other designated spaces. - Safely collect, handle and dispose of waste, recyclables and biohazardous materials in accordance with hospital protocols. - Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures, with a strong focus on high-touch and high-risk areas. - Work collaboratively with the Environmental Services team and healthcare staff to support efficient service delivery and specific cleaning requirements. - Follow workplace health and safety guidelines and promptly report hazards, risks or incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
