Position Summary The National Center for Pavement Preservation (NCPP) at Michigan State University is seeking a Bridge Preservation Specialist to support bridge preservation initiatives at regional and national levels. This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to identify and secure research funding, develop training programs, and expand bridge preservation initiatives. The ideal candidate will innovate, build partnerships, and pursue growth opportunities that advance NCPP’s mission. Rather than simply executing existing projects, they must think strategically, seize opportunities, and drive new initiatives that benefit bridge preservation efforts nationwide. This is a one-year fixed-term position with the possibility of renewal based on continued funding, positive performance reviews, and mutual agreement. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will lead, organize, and facilitate regional and national bridge preservation partnership meetings.
