Overview Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Hand Therapy Location: Select Physical Therapy – Kissimmee, FL Type: Per Diem | Pay: Starting at $26+/hr (based on experience) Schedule: As needed, Monday–Friday (center hours: 8 AM–7 PM) Bonus: Extra hours available if willing to float to nearby centers (within 30 mins) Select Physical Therapy in Kissimmee is hiring a per diem COTA to support our outpatient hand therapy team. Work alongside an experienced OT/CHT treating upper extremity orthopedic conditions. Requirements: - FL COTA license - 1+ year hand therapy experience preferred, or new grad with hand fieldwork Responsibilities: - Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients. - Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components - Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. - Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals - Ensure proper documentation of patient care. - Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable r...
